About West Ewell
West Ewell is located just outside Ewell Village and stretches to the borders of Tolworth, Chessington and Epsom. It has its own station in Zone 6 – with plenty of parking – and the commute to Waterloo is around 25 minutes. There are good bus services linking the area with Tolworth and Chessington North Stations, for those who aren’t quite within walking distance.
Entertainment in West Ewell
Entertainment-wise there is lots to do with an 18 hole golf course, 400 acres of open space at Horton Country Park with its bridle and cycle paths, Hobbledown children’s farm and Epsom Polo Club. There are also comprehensive athletic facilities at King George’s Fields, whose sports club caters for badminton, squash and tennis players and which also has a social club. Ewell Athletics Track, a UK Athletics Class B track where Epsom and Ewell Harriers have trained since the 1950s, is also nearby as are the Dragon’s private leisure club and a David Lloyd club – both of which have extensive facilities including swimming pools.
Kingston upon Thames, Guildford and Sutton are also easily accessible – as are the A3 and the A217.
There are several letting agents in the area as well as a diverse selection of good private and state schools within the area, for children of all ages.
